Having gone through Hurricane Irma, I did my research here. The last thing you need is to be stuck with no power for 2 weeks and no access to a generator. Take my word for it. This will be the best investment ever.
Let me just tell you lovies... having gone through Hurricane Irma, I would NOT be without one of these! The portable generators cost less than the home standby generators but if you're going to buy one that runs on gasoline, you might want to stock up!
Alright... from what I've learned about Inverter Generators, their engines are a bit more complex which makes them pricier than the portable generators. With that said, the output is pretty much comparable. Shop on...
Again, having gone through Hurricane Irma, I feel it would be a good idea to look into these. I had no power for more than 2 weeks. It was HORRIBLE! While these are a bit more expensive, can you REALLY put a price tag on peace-of-mind?
